Out of the Woods: Tiger Gets Tiny Ticket For Crash, No Domestic Violence Charges For Elin Nordegren
Elin and Tiger Woods are officially out of the ... police blotter.
Tiger's careless driving violation carries the aforementioned fine and four points on Woods' driving record. Not had for hitting a fire hydrant and his neighbor's tree.
More significantly, the FHP will not be pursuing criminal charges after an investigation of Elin Woods provided "insufficient evidence" of domestic abuse on Tiger.
Williams noted that contrary to previous reports, investigators had no reason to issue a subpoena for any medical information that might exist from the incident.
While reports of Elin roughing up Tiger and chasing him out of the house, prompting his car crash, no claims of domestic violence from either Woods were made.
With no testimony or hard proof, it is hard to make a case.
Beyonce’s Crazy In Love best song of the decade
The 2003 single – which features her now husband Jay-Z – was released as the lead single from her album ‘Dangerously in Love’ and went on to massive success, reaching the top spot in the UK and US charts, as well as landing Beyonce two Grammy awards.
The former Destiny’s Child singer beat MGMT, whose 2008 song ‘Time To Pretend’ came second, to the top spot, while The Strokes’ ‘Hard To Explain’, from 2001, was third.
At number four was MIA’s 2008 track ‘Paper Planes’ and at number five was Outcast with ‘Hey Ya!’, which saw listeners told to head to the dance floor to “shake it like a Polaroid picture”.
The Klaxons, with their 2007 song ‘Golden Skans’, Blur, with their 2003 track ‘Out Of Time’, and Arctic Monkeys’ ‘A Certain Romance’ all made the top ten.

Nicole Fox Named America's Next Top Model
The lovely Nicole Fox was pronounced the winner of America's Next Top Model last night. In other news, America's Next Top Model is still on the air!
Anyway, congratulations to the native of Louisville, Colo., who joins an illustrious group of past ANTM winners. Ridiculously successful models like ...
... help us out here if you know one.
Nicole Fox, a self-described 18-year-old dork who is just 5′7″ (diminutive in runway standards), is thrilled with the honor but a little overwhelmed.
“Coming in, it was obvious to everyone that I didn’t have the self-confidence, the presence of all the girls out there,” the show's 13th cycle champ says.
“I never say the right things. I’ve never had a boyfriend.”
If Nicole Fox was in over her head, she didn't show it. Time and again, she proved that her look and instincts were spot-on, winning several of the show's challenges.
“It seemed like the judges saw me being able to do [high] fashion as well as commercial modeling,” she said. “But beyond that, I suspect that Tyra Banks and the judges knew a lot of girls out there could relate to my personality.”
Now, having won a contract with Wilhelmina Models and CoverGirl Cosmetics, this small-town girl and A-student is ready to leave home and embark on a career.
One thing she's not ready for yet, however?
“I’m ready for the modeling world,” Fox says, “I’m ready to move all over the world if need be, but I’m not ready for a boyfriend!”
John Mayer Gives Mad Props to Taylor Swift
John Mayer may be a total and utter douchebag, but we can say one nice thing about him: The singer is unafraid to praise his competition.
Months ago, he (sort of creepily) gave a shout out to Demi Lovato via Twitter. Now, he's telling Access Hollywood just how awesome Taylor Swift is.
“There’s something about Taylor that she would have been a star in any decade,” Mayer said. “Taylor’s like this fresh voice.”
Swift actually shares a credit with the crooner on “Half of My Heart,” a song off Mayer's new album, "Battle Studies."
Mayer says he's most impressed by how calm and humble Swift has remained in the face of such success.
“Taylor Swift is the last person to know she’s Taylor Swift, which I think is totally sweet. It’s almost like Taylor Swift is like a character in a movie about a small town girl who has her dreams come true.
"It’s great to have someone who’s hugely talented and still is able to receive the pleasure in all moments.”
It sure is, but you best stay away from her, John! Otherwise, you'll have to answer to Taylor Lautner and his abs of steel!
Jane Carrey and Alex Santana: Married!
Jane Carrey, daughter of Jim Carrey, walked down the aisle last weekend escorted by her actor dad as she tied the knot with musician Alex Santana.
"It was a beautiful day. Very simple and sweet," the funnyman said of the wedding in a statement. "I wish them everything that love has given us."
Carey also Twittered for joy Wednesday night: "My Jane is a married woman. Days ago her and my new son in law alex got hitched,” he wrote.
"The day was simply perfect... lots of love there.. :)"
Jim Carrey with daughter Jane, who's about to make him a grandpa!
In the spring, the star will become a grandfather as well: Jane Carrey, 22, is due to give birth to her first child in March. "I am very excited," he said in July.
"Jane is going to be a great mom."
Jane is Jim's daughter with his first wife Melissa Womer. He was later married to Lauren Holly. He and Jenny McCarthy have been together four years.
Oprah Winfrey to End Talk Show in 2011
For the big O, it's time to go.
During tomorrow's broadcast, Oprah Winfrey will officially announce the end of her network television talk show. Its final airdate will be September 9, 2011.
"Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history," Tim Bennett, the President of Harpo productions, wrote in a statement.
Bennett sent out the letter in order to prevent affiliates from being shocked at the announcement.
"Before she speaks to her loyal viewers, we wanted to share her decision first with you - our valued partners for more than two decades," he wrote.
Of course, Winfrey is unlikely to leave television altogether.
It's been rumored for weeks that the icon will take the gabfest to her previously announced cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), which also launches in 2011.
