Heidi Montag Speaks on Circus Freak Status

In the wake of her recent plastic surgery binge, Heidi Montag says her mom looked at her like a circus freak. That's really insulting ... to actual circus freaks.

One can understand Darlene Egelhoff's reaction upon seeing her daughter after she was transformed via 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, however.

An anxious Heidi headed to her hometown of Crested Butte, Colo., to face her mother with The Hills camera crew in tow, and was greeted in abject horror.

"I was nervous, but also excited … I never thought in my wildest dreams she was going to react the way she did," the surgically un-enhanced one recalled.

"She was looking at me almost like a zoo animal. It wasn't like I was her daughter anymore. She was looking at me like I was a circus freak," says Heidi.
Surgically Altered
WOMAN OR CYBORG? Heidi is barely recognizable to her own mom.

So where does her turbulent relationship with mom stand now? Heidi Montag says that "I tried to leave it as best as I could, but my heart was breaking."

Guess that Mother's Day gift won't be going over too well.

"I think she was most upset that Spencer was there for me and she wasn't," the disturbed 23-year-old continued. "[My mom] was saying how sad it is that my confidence is gone because of the music industry I'm trying to get into."

Right. It's the music industry's fault. Hopefully her abysmal album sales will nudge Heidi in another career direction, although you can't undo 10 surgeries.

Montag, who still struggles with daily pain but has no regrets, says, "I just wanted to be the most beautiful, inside and out. It's part of being a pop star."

Or a complete and utter narcissistic moron.

Tiger Woods: The Ultimate Family Man

In a display of irony even thicker than his pulled Accenture ads, Tiger Woods talked in an interview just weeks ago about how he always puts his family first.

On November 17, a mere 10 days before he wrecked his car and image, Woods sat down for a chat with New Zealand's Sky Sport reporter Murray Deaker.

During the interview, he raves about wife Elin Woods, and their kids.

"[Having a family] has been great, actually, the best thing that ever happened to me," he says. When asked if a mentality of "family first, golf second" has always been his mentality, the 14-time major champion insists, "Always, always."

Sleazeball. No clue how Rachel Uchitel, Jaimee Grubbs, Kalika Moquin, Jamie Jungers, Mindy Lawton, Cori Rist, Holly Sampson, Joslyn James, Loredana Jolie, Julie Postle and Theresa Rogers fit in. Probably a close second... through 12th.

Michael Jackson Investigators Taking Cues From Anna Nicole Smith Case?

We've talked about the O.J. factor and how it's making investigators in the Michael Jackson case act with such extreme patience and caution at every turn.

Basically, there's no rush, and they don't want to let another winnable, high-profile case go by the wayside because they got sloppy like with the Juice.

But there's another reason the case is dragging on for months - Anna Nicole Smith. Her ex-beau Howard K. Stern will likely go to trial on multiple drug-related felony charges stemming from the model's addiction woes and death.

Because the case is similarly compliex, prosecutors are probably watching that case to determine the specific charges Dr. Conrad Murray should face.

Murray, who has been blamed by the Jackson family for MJ's death, has maintained his innocence throughout the process and has returned to work.

MJ ImageDr. Conrad Murray PictureANS, Pre-Death

How Dr. Conrad Murray is charged may hinge on the Anna Nicole Smith case.

While some Jacksons have called him a murderer, it's clear there was no premeditated killing of Michael, and how to prosecute him is a murky task.

"It's not like prosecutors think there's a propofol murderer out there," says Robin Sax, former Los Angeles prosecutor, saying he's not a flight risk.

Yet another factor slowing things down: the feds.

"At the very least," retired Drug Enforcement Administration supervisory special agent Gregory D. Lee says, "Murray runs the risk of losing his license."

That seems like a given, but like the LAPD, the DEA is still determining what, if any, more serious federal drug charges will be filed against the doc.

Beyonce, Lady Gaga Team Up on "Video Phone"

When you cross a performer who goes by the alter ego Sasha Fierce with a rumored hermaphrodite who once simulated her own murder on stage ... you get this.

In a full-frontal assault on the senses, Lady GaGa and Beyonce's video collaboration on the latter's song "Video Phone" has been released, and it's totally freaky.

And potentially hazardous to your eyes and brain if you stare at it too closely.

Celebrated video director Hype Williams directed this masterpiece. Peep Lady GaGa and Beyonce in "Video Phone" and tell us what you think by voting below ...

Out of the Woods: Tiger Gets Tiny Ticket For Crash, No Domestic Violence Charges For Elin Nordegren

The criminal chapter of the Tiger Woods saga has ended, with the golfer being fined for careless driving, but no domestic abuse charges filed against Elin Nordegren.

In a much-less-interesting but more appropriate manner than the celebrity gossip public might have hoped for, Woods was cited for careless driving and fined $164.

That's it.

The matter of whether Tiger slept with Jaimee Grubbs and/or Rachel Uchitel remains, but as far as criminal charges go, you can consider the Woods case closed.

"The investigation has determined that Mr. Woods is at fault in the crash," Maj. Cindy Williams of the Florida Highway Patrol said at a press conference Tuesday.

Tiger Woods, Wife Picture

Elin and Tiger Woods are officially out of the ... police blotter.

Tiger's careless driving violation carries the aforementioned fine and four points on Woods' driving record. Not had for hitting a fire hydrant and his neighbor's tree.

More significantly, the FHP will not be pursuing criminal charges after an investigation of Elin Woods provided "insufficient evidence" of domestic abuse on Tiger.

Williams noted that contrary to previous reports, investigators had no reason to issue a subpoena for any medical information that might exist from the incident.

While reports of Elin roughing up Tiger and chasing him out of the house, prompting his car crash, no claims of domestic violence from either Woods were made.

With no testimony or hard proof, it is hard to make a case.

Beyonce Knowles’ song ‘Crazy In Love’ has been voted the best song of the decade.

ABC: Cool with Woman Beating, Down on Men Kissing

We can't wait to hear ABC explain this one:

The network booted Adam Lambert off Good Morning America this week after he kissed a guy on stage at the American Music Awards.

However, the show is scheduled to air an interview and possible performance by Chris Brown next week, someone convicted of felony assault for beating on Rihanna.

“The network is giving a mixed message,” a source at ABC source told The New York Post. "It doesn’t trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault.”

C-BizzleRed Carpet Lambert

That will especially be true if the show features a performance by Brown. It's one thing to interview him and perhaps shed light on the serious issue of domestic abuse.

But if Brown actually performs songs from his new album, ABC will be giving a convicted woman beater a platform with which to make money and promote his music.

Said another insider at the network:

“Chris Brown’s interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna’s interview. The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week.”

It's unclear why Brown should have a chance to respond to anything. Didn't he forfeit that right when he left his girlfriend a bloody, beaten mess?

Nicole Fox Named America's Next Top Model

The lovely Nicole Fox was pronounced the winner of America's Next Top Model last night. In other news, America's Next Top Model is still on the air!

Anyway, congratulations to the native of Louisville, Colo., who joins an illustrious group of past ANTM winners. Ridiculously successful models like ...

... help us out here if you know one.

Nicole Fox, a self-described 18-year-old dork who is just 5′7″ (diminutive in runway standards), is thrilled with the honor but a little overwhelmed.

“Coming in, it was obvious to everyone that I didn’t have the self-confidence, the presence of all the girls out there,” the show's 13th cycle champ says.

“I never say the right things. I’ve never had a boyfriend.”

Nicole Fox, America

If Nicole Fox was in over her head, she didn't show it. Time and again, she proved that her look and instincts were spot-on, winning several of the show's challenges.

“It seemed like the judges saw me being able to do [high] fashion as well as commercial modeling,” she said. “But beyond that, I suspect that Tyra Banks and the judges knew a lot of girls out there could relate to my personality.”

Now, having won a contract with Wilhelmina Models and CoverGirl Cosmetics, this small-town girl and A-student is ready to leave home and embark on a career.

One thing she's not ready for yet, however?

“I’m ready for the modeling world,” Fox says, “I’m ready to move all over the world if need be, but I’m not ready for a boyfriend!”

John Mayer Gives Mad Props to Taylor Swift

John Mayer may be a total and utter douchebag, but we can say one nice thing about him: The singer is unafraid to praise his competition.

Months ago, he (sort of creepily) gave a shout out to Demi Lovato via Twitter. Now, he's telling Access Hollywood just how awesome Taylor Swift is.

“There’s something about Taylor that she would have been a star in any decade,” Mayer said. “Taylor’s like this fresh voice.”

Swift actually shares a credit with the crooner on “Half of My Heart,” a song off Mayer's new album, "Battle Studies."

MayerSwift, Cute

Mayer says he's most impressed by how calm and humble Swift has remained in the face of such success.

“Taylor Swift is the last person to know she’s Taylor Swift, which I think is totally sweet. It’s almost like Taylor Swift is like a character in a movie about a small town girl who has her dreams come true.

"It’s great to have someone who’s hugely talented and still is able to receive the pleasure in all moments.”

It sure is, but you best stay away from her, John! Otherwise, you'll have to answer to Taylor Lautner and his abs of steel!

Jane Carrey and Alex Santana: Married!

Jane Carrey, daughter of Jim Carrey, walked down the aisle last weekend escorted by her actor dad as she tied the knot with musician Alex Santana.

"It was a beautiful day. Very simple and sweet," the funnyman said of the wedding in a statement. "I wish them everything that love has given us."

Carey also Twittered for joy Wednesday night: "My Jane is a married woman. Days ago her and my new son in law alex got hitched,” he wrote.

"The day was simply perfect... lots of love there.. :)"

In the spring, the star will become a grandfather as well: Jane Carrey, 22, is due to give birth to her first child in March. "I am very excited," he said in July.

"Jane is going to be a great mom."

Jane is Jim's daughter with his first wife Melissa Womer. He was later married to Lauren Holly. He and Jenny McCarthy have been together four years.

Oprah Winfrey to End Talk Show in 2011

For the big O, it's time to go.

During tomorrow's broadcast, Oprah Winfrey will officially announce the end of her network television talk show. Its final airdate will be September 9, 2011.

"Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on The Oprah Winfrey Show that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history," Tim Bennett, the President of Harpo productions, wrote in a statement.

Bennett sent out the letter in order to prevent affiliates from being shocked at the announcement.

"Before she speaks to her loyal viewers, we wanted to share her decision first with you - our valued partners for more than two decades," he wrote.

Oprah

Of course, Winfrey is unlikely to leave television altogether.

It's been rumored for weeks that the icon will take the gabfest to her previously announced cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), which also launches in 2011.

Will you miss her on network TV?

Miley Cyrus Slams the Twilight Saga

Jealous much, Miley Cyrus?

Interview by a Cleveland radio station prior to a concert on Sunday night, Cyrus was asked about the Twilight Saga.

She could have simply said she's never read the books or seen a movie in the franchise. Instead, the singer chose to thumb her nose at the series:

"I've never seen [Twilight], nor will I. I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires, I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching TV at night, I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts, I don't like any of it."

Jeez, Miles. You don't believe in Twilight?!? We're sorry to report: it exists.

Moreover, that wolf has a name: Taylor Lautner. And, finally, don't worry: no one asking you to have anything to do with it. It was just a question.
