Jersey Shore Season 3 to Kick Off January 6

The Jersey Shore season finale just finished airing, but dry your eyes. Snooki, JWoww, The Situation and the gang will be running it back sooner, rather than later.
Season Three begins January 6 on MTV!
"All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some bad," co-creator and executive producer SallyAnn Salsano teases of the new season.
"There are some new hook-ups both in the house and outside. They're still the same cast, but I think how they deal with situations is completely different."
The same cast plus one. Deena Nicole Cortese joins the show to replace Angelina Pivarnick, who stirred up drama, then quit both of the first two seasons.
"It was hard for her to come in since there was a pre-existing relationship between everyone," Salsano said. "There was literally no shortage of drama."

Lindsay Lohan Dodges Bullet, Sent Back to Rehab

Lindsay Lohan dodged a major bullet this morning when Judge Elden Fox ordered her back to rehab until at least January 3, but spared her more jail time.
The troubled star is due back in court February 25, and will be subject to random drug testing in between her release from rehab until that court date.
If Lindsay does not test positive for drugs or alcohol, her sentence will be converted to unsupervised probation. So if she stays clean, problem solved.
The D.A., fed up with Lindsay's baloney, recommended she get 180 days in county jail. The judge could have sentenced her to a year if he deemed it necessary.
However, Fox was sympathetic to Lohan, but at the same time stern. "You are an addict. I hope you understand that," he said. Lindsay nodded in agreement.
"I don't want another train wreck," Fox warned. Asked if she was unclear on the matter, Linds tearfully responded, "No, your honor. I understand. Thank you."

Taylor Momsen: More Inappropriate Than Miley?

Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen recoils at Miley Cyrus comparisons, but she just pulled a Miley by ticking off the Parents Television Council with her antics.
Cyrus' new, overtly sexual video for "Who Owns My Heart" sparked outcry from the group, which criticized the example she sets for young, female fans.
Now it's a gun-toting, lingerie-clad Momsen, also 17, on the cover of Revolver magazine that has the PTC up in arms. Just like her nemesis Miley ...
The PTC says that by making guns and violence seem sexy, Taylor contributes to the epidemic "of kids’ overexposure to hyper-sexualized media content, which has been linked to depression, eating disorders, and sexual risk-taking."
She can act hard all she wants, but this Taylor-Miley comparison won't be the last. Both are going out of their way to push the envelope and are far too young to behave in such a manner without offending people (justifiably or not).

Despite the inclusion of this event in the lives of Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, the couple is splitting up. Two days after their separation went public, the singer has cited "irreconcilable differences" and filed for divorce from her husband of six years.

Jennifer Aniston Is The Most Eligible Woman In The World

A '60 Minutes' and Vanity Fair poll came to the conclusion that Jennifer Aniston is the most eligible single woman in the world, and forgot to say that the margin of error was +- any of our interest in the poll itself. After winning 29% of the votes, Aniston swiped the title right out of the hands of Halle Berry, Elin Nordegren, Betty White, Lady Gaga, and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Elena Kagan. Guess who handled the loss with the least amount of grace. 

However, I'm surprised that 29% of the people from somewhere still consider Jennifer Aniston to be an eligible woman, especially since her unsuccessful attempts at staying in a relationship make her more readily classifiable as decidedly IN-eligible and UN-dateable. Consider the men who have helped her weigh the pros and cons of yet another septoplasty: Adam Duritz, Tate Donovan, Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer, some guy named Josh Hopkins, possibly Gerard Butler, British model Paul Sculfor and maybe Bradley Cooper. It seems like the title of "the most eligible woman in the world" would be better suited for someone who's proven herself actually capable of dating. Also, the term "eligible" implies the person at hand has just been unlucky in love, but is otherwise meant to be in a relationship -- Aniston just doesn't seem like she is, which means she's an unwise choice to take out on a date, which means she's ineligible to take on a date BECAUSE it's unwise, which means she's not the most eligible woman in the world.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Brother Dead At 36

Joseph Gordon-Levitt tweeted on Tuesday that his older brother, Dan, had passed away at the age of 36. Joseph frequently called his older brother his "super hero," and someone who "embodied that bold beastly bliss sometimes referred to as 'the creative spirit.'" In the tweet, Joseph included a link to hitRECord.org, a website where artists can collaborate with each other on their projects.

Dan was a fire-spinning artist (which probably contributed to earning him the nickname "Burning Dan") and a flow arts teacher at Flow Temple Arts School in Venice Beach, California. The cause of death is not known, but it is being reported he was found unresponsive in his Hollywood home early Monday morning. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Lindsay Lohan in Rehab Until Further Notice

Lindsay Lohan will remain in rehab until her court appearance on October 22, and very possibly beyond that. Hey, when you're turning a profit, why not?
How long she stays in there is likely up to the judge.
The plan is for Lohan to stay in rehab until the hearing, at which point Judge Elden Fox will have reports from the doctors at the famed Betty Ford Clinic.
The judge will have an easier time evaluating Lohan's problems and progress then, and decide whether to keep her there, put her in jail or set her loose.
If the judge determines Lindsay would be better served in rehab than jail, where she's likely to be set free promptly, it's likely her stay will be extended.
As for the October 22 court appearance, Lindsay does not have to show in person, since in misdemeanor cases lawyers can appear on behalf of a client.
Judge Fox clearly remanded Lohan into custody last month, though, and expected her to remain behind bars until October 22. So she should be there.
