Angelina Jolie's Leg: A Photo History
Many legendary stars took to the red carpet for Sunday's 84th Academy Awards, but one person in particular stood out above the rest -- or at least, a certain part of her did. Angelina Jolie strutted onto the carpet, showing off her right leg in a thigh-high slit dress by Atelier Versace. Of course, this drew immediate attention from both the press and Twitter (yes, her leg now has its own Twitter account).
But this isn't the first time the actress has gone for the slitted leg look. In fact, her history of red carpet appearances reveals that it's Jolie's go-to look, though she usually prefers to show off her left leg rather than her right.
So if this is such a common occurrence then why is her leg only recently getting so much attention? It's difficult to say for sure, however, her overly exaggerated pose could have something to do with it, especially since The Descendants' screenwriter, Jim Rash (Community's Dead Pelton), mock her for it right after she presented him with the Oscar for Best Screen Adaptation.
But whatever the reason, you can't deny Jolie looks absolutely stunning, no matter which leg she chooses to flaunt.
