'The Avengers'' Cobie Smulders Marries
After a three-year engagement, The Avengers' Cobie Smulders married SNL actor Taran Killam in California on Saturday. According to People.com, the couple — who have been dating for eight years, and have a three-year-old daughter together — tied the knot at the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in the town of Solvang. Smulders' How I Met Your Mother costars Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris were among the 300 guests who witnessed the quick 15 minute ceremony. After which partygoers were taken to the lakeside reception by hay ride. The cost to rent the place for the night? $43,000.
Good thing the couple both return to work later this month: the new season of SNL airs on Sept. 15, and season 8 of HIMYM premieres Sept. 24. Sounds like they've already spent those paychecks!
